Notice: Because of the network incident that has impacted ARRL operations, I am not able to send my weekly newsletter by email. Please check the Indiana ARRL website (https://inarrl.org/) or the ARRL Indiana Section Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/inarrl) for information.

== ARRL Field Day ==
Field Day is upon us and I know that many clubs, small groups, and individuals are planning to be on the air this weekend. Given the predicted temperatures, I hope that everyone plans for the heat. Limit exposure to the heat and humidity, drink plenty of fluids, and watch out for other people at your hamfest site. You can find the complete ARRL Field Day rules and information here: https://www.arrl.org/field-day
Remember that you can earn an easy 100 bonus points by sending a Field Day message to your Section Manager or Section Emergency Coordinator (rule 7.3.5.). Our traffic handlers will be able to accept your message and get it into the National Traffic System or you can send your message by Winlink. I plan to check into the Indiana Traffic Net at 8:30 AM EDT on Sunday to take any traffic the net has for me.
That's all for this week. As always, if you have a question or concern, please contact me.
